24th July First friendly of the season saw us win 3-0. Great proformace by the lads and a great start to the season. Goals from Shaun Nolan, Alex Flood and Nelson Simmonds.
7th August A comfortable win 5-2 against The Railway Club in our second freindlly. Another great proformace by the lads. Goals from Shaun Nolan (2), Justin Sims, Nelson Simmonds and PJ. Bring on the Christian Club!!!!!!
14th August Our third win in a row gained against Christ Church Woking. 5-1 win with goals from J McConnell, S Nolan, B Kenna, G Fielder and M Nolan.
21st August Four wins in a row came from our game against Bedfont Green where after going 2-0 down after 60 minutes saw us take back the game with help from a Shaun Nolan hatrick. Final score was 5-2 with goals from S Nolan (3), J Simms and James.

About Us
Surrey Athletic started life as one of two teams playing out of The Surrey Public House in St. Johns, Woking although we no longer use the venue and are currently trying different venues before deciding on a new base. When the other team, Surrey Rangers (which was a completely separate side with its own committee, players etc) folded in 1993, Surrey Athletic continued playing in the Woking & District Football League which in turn became the Guildford & Woking Alliance Football League in 1995. The current team still features several players who have been around since the formative years and loyalty has played a major part in the ongoing future of the club. Our home pitch is Goldsworth Park Recreation Ground, Wishbone Way, Woking, GU21 3RT and training is held every Wednesday night from 7-9pm throughout the season at Woodham Court Sports Club, Martyrs Lane, Woking, GU21 5NJ.
